I have been dying to try Charlotte's eyeshadow quads for ages now, so i thought i would take the plunge and order myself one. The Dolce Vita palette is now the newest edition to my C.T collection.
Let me start on the packaging...
The quad is encased in a plum plastic plastic packaging and in the inside each shadow in surrounded by a gold border...beautiful! The packaging is lightweight yet sturdy. Plus let's say a HUUUGE thank you to Charlotte for not including useless applicators in her packaging!
So the Dolce Vita Palette is a set of four warm toned, neutral shades which lean towards copper. Each shadow is labeled with its purpose;
1. Prime
2. Enhance
3. Smoke
4. Pop
This added extra takes the guesswork out of applying all four shades, making it very easy to apply!
The pigmentation of the shadows are all consistent and very easy to blend, the only down side of the whole palette for me is pigmentation the glitter shadow. I felt that this shadow did not adhere to the lids very well, unlike the Tom Ford quads. However, this can be resolved by packaging the shadow onto your brush and giving it a couple of sprays of mac fix plus!
Overall, i am so in love with this palette and if you have blue eyes then you simply need this in your life! Magical!
